Luk is a free classifieds board. We keep only what is needed for you to post listings and talk to buyers. We don't sell data and don't use advertising trackers.

1. Who we are

Luk is run by the Luk team. For any question about your data, write to support@luk.markets or contact support. Luk is for people who are 20 or older.

2. What data we receive

  • your email address, if you sign in by email;
  • the name and number of your Google or Telegram account, if you sign in with them or open the Luk app in Telegram, and the profile photo from there, if it is public and you have no photo on Luk yet: it becomes your profile photo, and you can change or remove it in settings;
  • your profile name, profile photo and settings;
  • your service provider page, if you have filled it in;
  • your listings and their photos;
  • messages in conversations;
  • messages you write in the general chat of a Luk group in Telegram;
  • contacts you have added yourself: Telegram, WhatsApp or LINE;
  • your company page, if you have created one;
  • favorites;
  • support requests and reports, as well as photos and details you send to the Luk team;
  • technical data: device, browser, IP address and time of sign in;
  • your notification subscription, if you have turned notifications on.

3. Why we need it

  • so that you can sign in and nobody else can get into your account;
  • to show listings and deliver messages and notifications;
  • to keep Luk safe: to protect users from spam, fraud and rule violations;
  • to answer support requests;
  • to make Luk more convenient: using overall statistics, not tied to specific people.

4. Who sees what

  • Everyone: your name, the month and year you signed up, and your listings. You can hide the list of listings in your profile, and the listings themselves will stay in the catalog.
  • Contacts: only the ones you have turned on in the listing are visible, and only after tapping “Show contacts”.
  • Messages are seen only by the people in the conversation.
  • Your email is not visible to other users.
  • Luk groups and channels. Luk may show your listing in its groups and channels, including in Telegram, without your name and contacts. You can turn this off on the listing's management page.
  • General chat of a Luk group in Telegram. Messages that break the group rules are deleted. If your message looks like a listing, we may suggest posting it on Luk; only you see that suggestion.
  • What you send to the Luk team (for example, a photo after a report) is seen only by the Luk team.

If you found your own listing on Luk that you didn't post yourself, tap “Is this your listing?” or write to support: you can take it over or delete it.

5. Who helps us run Luk

As with any website, part of the work is done by outside services: hosting, the network that delivers the website, sending emails and storing backups. If you sign in with Google or Telegram, use the Luk app in Telegram or have turned on notifications, they take part too. Each service receives only what it needs for its task, and none of them receives data for advertising. The services may be located outside your country.

6. How long we keep it

  • Account and listings: as long as you use Luk.
  • Deleted account: for 7 days the deletion can be cancelled. Then your name, email, contacts, profile photo and listings are deleted.
  • Messages from the general chat of a Luk group are kept for a few days so that the group rules are followed in the chat.
  • Drafts: up to 30 days.
  • Technical data: as long as needed for the security and operation of the website, and no longer than a year.
  • Reports, support requests and decisions on violations are kept longer: this is needed to protect users.
  • Backups: up to 8 weeks.

7. Your options

  • change your name and contacts in settings;
  • hide the list of your listings in your profile;
  • turn off notifications and messages from Luk in Telegram;
  • see sign ins from other devices and end them;
  • delete your account (the deletion can be cancelled within 7 days);
  • ask for a copy of your data, or to correct or delete it: write to support@luk.markets or contact support, and we will reply within 30 days.

8. Cookies

Luk uses only its own cookies: for sign in, security, your settings and overall visit statistics. There are no third party advertising or analytics cookies or scripts. Favorites saved without signing in are kept in your browser and move to your account when you sign in.
