Safe deals
Luk does not handle payment or handover: you agree directly. A few simple rules will help you not to lose money.
Before you meet
- If the listing has a “Message the seller” button, agree in Luk messages: the conversation is kept, and you can report someone who breaks the rules.
- Do not send prepayments to strangers: not for an item, not to “book” a place to stay or a bike.
- Do not follow “payment” or “delivery” links from the other person and do not share codes from SMS and emails.
At the meeting
- Meet in a busy place in the daytime, and bring someone you know for a big purchase.
- Check the item before paying: turn on the device, inspect the bike, compare the documents.
- When renting a place to stay, see it in person and sign the contract with the owner or their representative.
If something is wrong
- Common signs of fraud: a price far below the market, hurry, a request to prepay, to follow a “payment” or “delivery” link, to write to an unknown bot or to share a code.
- Report the listing or the messages: the button is on the listing page and in the conversation.
- If you were deceived, contact the Tourist Police of Thailand (1155) and write to Luk support or to support@luk.markets.
